Pop Pulse Digital Link II
This compact and well-designed USB transport provides all the digital inputs/ouputs you'll ever need for easy PC/Audio connectivity. Using the C-Media CM-108 chipset, the Digital Link II supports Plug-and-Play support for both Windows and Mac machines. No complicated driver and software installations required here!
USB input (24-48kHz) provides I2S, BNC, Optical, Coaxial or Balanced (XLR) digital output. When using the SPDIF input (24-96khz) outputs are available via Coaxial, Optical, BNC or a Balanced (XLR). The unit can be powered either by the USB connection or a 12VDC power supply.

I2S is an electrical serial bus interface standard used for connecting digital audio devices and technologies such as CD Players and digital sound processors. It is most commonly used to carry PCM information between the CD transport and the DAC in a CD player. By handling audio data separately from the clock signals and by separating the data and clock signals, I2S eliminates time-related errors that cause jitter.
